My love of photography began in childhood when I was gifted a “Kodak Brownie Starlet” by my mother. I eventually progressed to Nikon and my camera is my companion as I travel the world. Apart from capturing the journey, I also search for images that reflect the complexities of life. My favourite composition is portraits, especially with the subject’s natural environment in the background. More recently, I have learnt how to build upon the original using Photoshop and Lightroom to improve the force of the photograph. I tend to prefer colour to black and white and periodically attend photography classes to develop my skills. I don’t classify myself as a professional photographer but an amateur who loves photography and challenging myself to always improve. EM: [email protected] |
