Cliff Adeney
Cliff Adeney has been painting watercolours for over twenty years. He takes his inspiration from artists of all persuasions who have painted en plain air - the best way to paint. It encourages brevity, speed, a sparseness of style, spontaneity and risk taking. The majority of his work is grounded in realism, but he is also interested in the imagined landscape. Without formal artistic training, he has had tuition from Margaret Voterakis, Ross Paterson, Alvaro Castagnet, Amanda Hyatt, Peter Smales and Margaret Cowling. Adeney credits each of these artists with having profound yet different influences on his painting technique. E: [email protected] Watch Cliff in his studio - practice. |
